Gas or Charcoal for my a Father's Day gift?
I want to get my husband a portable grill for Father’s Day. I can’t decide between gas or charcoal. I imagine we will use it for family picnics during weekend getaways (we live in a very urban area). I’ve never grilled before and I’m having a hard time deciding between gas or charcoal. I know he would enjoy charcoal more.. but I’m not sure how we could manage having a charcoal grilled lunch and then going back into the car. How long would we have to be stopped for in that scenario? What about with gas? How long after eating could we get the grills packed up again… any tips?
Any useful info would be nice! I’ve been looking around and ideally I would get a Weber that is 0 or under. One model of the "smokey joe", "go-anywhere grill" or "Q" models. Any input is greatly appreciated!!!!
