Safety in using and handling Cal Flame Bbq and their accessories

Cal Flame grills may be great things to have at home but, like everything else, these things should be handled with care and with a dose of common sense, you can keep your grilling activity safe and fun.
When grilling with Cal Flame grills, or any grill that uses gas, always do a routine check on them, Check for any holes, brittleness and cracks on the surfaces which might lead to gas leakage. Also, ensure that there are no sharp bends on your hoses. Bends on the hoses may restrict the flow of gas into the grill and cause pressure to build up or not provide adequate amount of gas into the Cal Flame grill to burn. Cal Flame grills usually use propane gas contained in tanks as a fuel source. Make sure that the hoses connecting the tank to the grill are as far away from the hot grill as possible. Do not place it under the grill or anywhere where it is covered-up. When handling the tanks, always carry them in upright position and into your Cal Flame grill. In an event of a gas leakage, turn off the grill and the gas source immediately. Usually, a leaking propane tank emits a putrid smell to warn the user that it is leaking. Do not attempt to fix the tank on your own. Call for a technician to replace or repair it.
Never use a Cal Flame grill indoors. Cal Flame grills are made for outdoor use, the smoke and gases it produces have to be dispersed in open air. You do not want any smoke to gather inside your home and suffocate you. You should place the Cal Flame grill no less than 10 feet away from your home or any building to eliminate any possibilities of burning down the home in case something uncalled for happens.
Do not smoke or light cigarettes, matches or any open flames near a Cal Flame grill (especially when it is leaking) or with the Cal Flame grill itself. Cal Flame grills are made for grilling and cooking food, not to light your cigarettes. Not only is it unhygienic and unsanitary, it is also a major cause of accidents when using gas grills. Light your cigarettes away from the grill and do not smoke near it.
When there are any children around, never leave the Cal Flame grills or the children unattended. Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not come too close to the Cal Flame grill and accidentally burn themselves or remove parts of the Cal Flame grill.
